Rigel CT110 Tobacco Burst - Oh my! I bought this mandolin used and sent it off to Pete Langdell, where he installed a new top and custom voiced it for bluegrass. It now has a deep, powerful throaty chop and a great percussive pop to the notes. Thanks to the finish work required to blend in the new top, the mandolin now looks almost like new. The back and sides are in very good condition too with just a minor blemish here and there detectable only on close inspection. Pete also installed a brand new tailpiece in keeping with the "new" look of the mandolin. The mandolin has excellent smooth tuners with pearl buttons and shows only very minor fret wear. It has the normal Rigel built-in pickup through the end pin. Thanks to Pete, this beautiful CT110 is now unique tone-wise among Rigels for bluegrass. You will not find a better sounding Rigel. $3250.
